The City Rickey is legendary mixologist Dale DeGroff’s new twist on the traditional Rickey, a classic gin cocktail. Originally, the Rickey was named after Joe Rickey, a Democratic lobbyist living in Washington, D.C., during the late 19th century. Since he preferred zero-sugar drinks, Rickey liked to combine gin or bourbon with carbonated water.
